2021 Ford Ranger Tremor: The Truck of the Future
Ford has always been a trailblazer in the truck market, and their latest Ranger cements this claim. The 2021 Ranger comes with the iconic aggressive look and better off-road capabilities, thanks to the 32-inch all-terrain tires and lifted suspension.
But what else makes the 2021 Ranger a top off roader? What should you expect?
Appearance
Compared to the others in the FX4 package, the Ranger Tremor is meaner and way cooler. It adds black-painted 17-inch alloy wheels, black bumpers on the front and rear, and black flared wheel arches. The Ranger has an irresistible black grille with red accents.
In general, the blending of black and blue appeals to the senses of gearheads and non-enthusiasts alike.
Power and Performance
Tremor has a 2.3-liter turbo-4 that pushes an impressive 270-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. This Ranger can tow up to 7,500 lbs.
The 10-speed automatic transmission is decisive, and shifting to S gives the truck a particular spryness for riding on the highway and around town. It is powerful, and the lag is minimal.
Unfortunately, the Tremor has a lot of road noise – not sure if the name has something to do with it. Seriously, the Grabbers wheels and the 70R profile may be the main culprits for the noise that is so much similar to that of a typical truck.
On the downside, the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor is not so great if you are a speed devil. It instead only excels in the off-road space. The off-roader adds various features to the FX4, such as vinyl bucket seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen.
Its overall cosmetics are pleasing and may play an essential role in your final decision. We are yet to find someone that doesn’t like to own an attention-grabbing truck on the highway and city roads.
